E2 Visa Program
The E-2 nonimmigrant classification allows a national of a treaty country to be admitted to the United States when investing a substantial amount of capital in a U.S. business. Treaty investors and employees may be accompanied or followed by spouses and unmarried children who are under 21 years of age. Spouses and children may seek E2 nonimmigrant classification as dependents and, if approved, generally will be granted the same period of stay as the employee.
E2 Visa Key Requirements
① The treaty must exist between the United States and the country of nationality of the applicant
② The applicant has invested or is actively in the process of investing
③ The applicant's investment is substantial
④ The applicant is in a position to develop and direct the enterprise
